Nigel chronicles the story of an eclectic artist, hair stylist, and military veteran who came out to the world as a trans and non-binary during military service. Rooted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Portland, Oregon, Nigel transcends every category and box that the world has imposed. The film shares fragments of a life story that has been filled with a spectrum ranging from family abuse to jail time to days filled with flowers.
